Springfield Manor Winery and Distillery, in northern Frederick County, is appealing to those who love both wine and craft spirits. Tenth Ward Distilling Company has officially opened its doors in Downtown Frederick, offering tours and tastings.
In addition to wine, beer, and spirits, you’ll find delicious cider and mead in Frederick County. Distillery Lane Ciderworks, Maryland’s first cidery, is located in Jefferson. Orchid Cellar Meadery and Winery in Middletown offers mead, an alcoholic beverage made from honey.
