Cyclefit at Skystage Through Gate

CycleFit at Skystage

Venue: Sky Stage transforms a boarded property in the heart of Frederick, Maryland’s downtown historic district into an interactive building-scale public art work. This pre-Revolutionary War building was damaged by a major fire in 2010 and has no roof. Now, the plywood boards on the doors and windows have been removed to reveal a center for arts and culture. The open-air theater offers drama, music, children’s story time, art classes, folklore, history, naturalists, and film. The local community is invited to program the space.

Workout: Choose from Cyclefit's Cardio Challenge or Signature Class for this unique take on traditional spin. The Signature Class is a full body workout combining cardio, upper body, and core work. The cardio version involves, you guessed it, nothing but cardio!

Boot Camp on the Creek

Boot Camp on the Creek

Venue: Similar in style to the famous Riverwalk in Texas, Carroll Creek Park began as a flood control project in the late 1970s. After the Great Frederick Flood of 1976 left parts of Downtown Frederick under three feet of water, it was obvious a solution was needed to remove Frederick from the 100-year flood plain. A 40-foot-wide, 1.3 mile channel waterway with brick pedestrian paths, water features, pedestrian bridges, landscaping, fountains, and a 350-seat-amphitheater has restored vitality to the historic commercial district and continues to be a catalyst for economic growth.

Workout: Led by local personal trainer Caryn Dayhoff, this outdoor full body workout will make you sweat!
