At Frederick Community College, 200 Monroe Restaurant delivers a capstone learning experience for Hospitality, Culinary & Tourism Institute (HCTI) students for this unique course, HCTI 230 Restaurant Production and Service.
Under the guidance of our faculty instructors, students in our Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, and Hospitality Management programs showcase their skills in an open-kitchen restaurant setting by delivering excellent service and a high-quality dining experience to you and your guests.
200 Monroe Restaurant is a learning lab environment, supporting student learning and providing valuable feedback about your dining experience as informal "guest instructors" for the evening. We welcome and encourage you to engage with our students, ask questions about the menu, their experience in the program, and even their career goals. This helps our students build valuable skills, and we appreciate the role you play in supporting them.
