Join us for the Back from the Dead Cemetery Walk at the Seton Shrine, one of the Shrine’s popular faith dramas.
On the Cemetery Walk, as a guide leads you through the dark by candlelight, saints and martyrs come to life and share stories of their life, like Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, who dedicated his short life of 24 years to serving the poor.
You’ll also meet Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, who reveals how she continued to look up in the midst of tragedies. This faith-filled walk is ideal for youth groups and families with older children (14+).
The Cemetery Walk takes place October 16-18, 23-25, 30-31 and November 1 in the historic cemetery at the Seton Shrine, located at 339 South Seton Avenue in Emmitsburg, MD.
Groups are welcome with reservations in advance.
The event is held rain or shine; please dress for an evening outdoors. The walk lasts for about 45-50 minutes. If you come, allow for time to see our museum and gift shop, which will be open during this time.
