Do you want to attract Monarchs and other butterflies to your yard?
Butterflies need specific plants for each stage of their life cycle. Learn how to enrich your landscape with plants for caterpillars to munch on and add colorful native flowers as nectar sources whence they emerge from their chrysalis.
In this workshop we will discuss why habitats for pollinators, especially butterflies, are critically important to our environment. We will briefly cover the native butterflies in our region. We will explain why native plants are the answer, and also provide some native plant recommendations for your butterfly garden.
The class is free. Plants are individually priced. Feel free to bring a planter from home or purchase one here at our 'Arrangement Bar'. Soil is free.
