The fun, family event is being held in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of the FCC Carl & Norma Miller Children’s Center. The festival and fun run will take place near the Children’s Center at the rear of the campus on Opossumtown Pike. Participants are encouraged to use the north entrance and follow signs for festival parking.
A one-mile kids’ fun run will kick off the festivities at 9:30. The festival and fun run are free and open to the public.
Children of all ages can enjoy a variety of activities including a trackless train ride, face painters, tattoo artists, magician Roger Lindsey, Mr. John Sings, balloon artist, cotton candy and popcorn concessions, hands-on activities, sports drills with FCC student athletes, and more. Light refreshments will also be served.
The one-mile fun run is open to children 12 and under. The timed run will take place on a paved path at the rear of the campus. More information will be available on the FCC website - www.frederick.edu - as the event approaches.
