The 2021 National Juried Exhibition Grand Prize winner explores the translations and mistranslations that occur when affixing digital imagery and abstractions onto fragile porcelain sheets, inspired to appear as faux printer paper. In this work, Duggan creates a poetic tension between two vastly different yet fragile mediums.
