The Blue and Gray Hospital Association presents the annual Historical Interpreters Workshop at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine.

On Saturday, August 29, 2020, Museum volunteers and living historians will present on a number of important topics related to the incredible history of Civil War medicine. This one-day symposium is designed for students of the American Civil War and for those working or volunteering at historical sites and organizations.

“Civil War Medicine: It’s Not What You Think” is a motto at the museum and this symposium demonstrates the depth and complexities to the story of medical care during the American Civil War.

Presentations will run throughout the day, with a break for lunch on your own in Downtown Frederick. Tickets are $50 for Museum members and Blue and Gray Hospital Association members and $60 for the general public.
