    ATTENTION: Check the Sky Stage or FAC websites for possible pre-registration and ticket links. COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place and masks will be required for ages 5+.

    Sky Stage hosts a variety of regional bands and solo musicians many Saturdays and occasionally other days* from April through October, from 7 or 8-10pm*. Doors open half-hour prior. All-ages venue, beer/wine available for 21+ with valid government-issued I.D. Ticket prices range from $5-10, under 12 free, online orders on Eventbrite, cards preferred for transactions at the door.

    Oct 30--Hip-Hop Halloween with Downtown Dawson, Tony J and friends, 7:30pm

    Sky Stage is a pre-Revolutionary building shell in downtown Frederick's historic district, transformed by artist Heather Clark with a team from MIT into a public art installation and community arts venue, with programming facilitated by the Frederick Arts Council. Offerings include drum circles, theater, live music concerts, artisan markets, comedy and improv nights, story times, literary readings and poetry open mics, fine art installations, yoga and fitness. Sky Stage is an all-ages, open-air venue, so please dress for the weather. Check out the calendar at for offerings and updates.
