Isn't it so wonderful to support local artists & makers? Where you get to ask questions about an artist's process or inspiration firsthand. Here is your chance! All throughout the holiday season on weekends Art Collective will have artists in house with all their work available. Come to our shop for a special weekend with artist Sarah Norris showing her holiday collection of handcrafted jewelry. By day, she looks for patterns in data as a biostatistician. By night, weekend, and the occasional day off, she makes patterns with plant-based epoxy resin, stone, and metal. Her jewelry is bold in shape and color and reflects my love of mid-century geometric designs. She has studied metal smithing at the Delaplaine Arts Center and participated in Artomatic @ Frederick in 2016.
A portion of all Sarah's sales are donated to Heartly House (http://www.heartlyhouse.org) which provides comprehensive services for victims and survivors of domestic violence, rape/sexual assault and child abuse.
