Frederick County Museums and Historic sites go where the action is—the Francis Scott Key Mall. Fourteen Frederick County sites will encourage shoppers and visitors of all ages to enjoy interactive displays and hands-on items that can also provide a history lesson. Parents, educators, youth group leaders, and home school families can use this event to gather information about programs and opportunities at local museums. The Scales and Tales program of Cunningham Falls State Park is provides visitors a look at some of their magnificent birds of prey and reptiles, learn about the historic and natural resources at the park, and then continue to explore the other museum displays. Museums at the Mall is free and open to the public. The Frederick Historic Sites Consortium sponsors the event.
