104 N. Court St.
Frederick, MD 21701
Details
In 1927, a group of Christian Scientists began meeting in a private home and later arranged to hold Sunday services at Pythian Castle in downtown Frederick. In 1966 the Church of Christ, Scientist, Frederick purchased the building at 5 E. 2nd Street after being recognized as a branch of the First Church of Christ, Scientist Mother Church, located in Boston, MA. Services were held at this location until the property was sold in 2012. The congregation is now happy to report they are having their Sunday and Wednesday services at 104 North Court Street. This small, quaint Cape Cod, across from City Hall, was built in 1902 by J.H. Gambrill Jr. www.christiansciencemd.org/Frederick.htm wheelchair and restroom icons ❖❖Questions and answers regarding Christian Science (4–9pm) ❖❖Public restrooms available
