Catoctin Colorfest Information

Catoctin Colorfest comes to Thurmont, MD the second full weekend of October each year. The was established in 1963 and has evolved into one of the largest outdoor craft shows on the East Coast. Colorfest is not just an event, but an experience! Amazing crafts, art, jewelry, clothing, a variety of delicious food, and much more is located throughout town. Visit Colorfest and discover why thousands come to Thurmont year after year. Colorfest is a rain or shine event. 

Parking

Parking is available at the following locations. Each location offers a bus stop where Colorfest transportation can take you into the festival. Limited parking may also be available on Frederick Road, but there is no bus stop at this location. View the parking map for locations around the festival grounds. There is a fee for parking.

Each designated official remote parking lot will have parking set aside for vehicles with ADA placards.

*ONLY the Catoctin High School parking location will have a shuttle bus with a lift that can accommodate wheelchairs.

Pets are not allowed in the juried portion of the festival (in Community Park). Pets are allowed in the outdoor portions of the festival outside of the park.
