For 50 years, Visit Frederick has strengthened economic vitality and community pride by developing and promoting tourism through the support of our members and partners to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. Becoming a Visit Frederick member means investing directly in the future of the travel and tourism economy in our community.
Become a Member
Become a member of Visit Frederick today and help us increase local tourism revenues and visitation to Frederick County! Annual Membership payment is $50 per business (non-profit membership is complimentary).
Who Can Join?
Visit Frederick membership is open to hospitality, tourism, and visitor-facing businesses based in Frederick County. A brick-and-mortar location is required. Online-only businesses, and businesses that sell exclusively at vendor markets or festivals, are not eligible.
How to Join?
After filling out the online form below, a staff member will contact you regarding your application for membership.
Membership Benefits
- Customized listing on the website, visitfrederick.org, a site that received more than 3.1 million page views in FY26
- Quarterly member Marketing Committee meeting and member newsletter to hear the latest trends and updates
- Annual Membership Meeting with opportunities to gain insights into tourism in Frederick County and network with peers
- Customized listing in the Frederick Visitor Guide for tourism related businesses, printed annually – 150,000 guides are distributed each year
- Our Visitor Guide is provided for all visitor inquiries, mailed to potential visitors, distributed at the Frederick Visitor Center, Maryland State Welcome Centers, and at area businesses
- Opportunity to display your brochures and marketing materials (based on available space) in the Frederick Visitor Center, which is visited by tens of thousands of people each year
- Leads from trade shows for motorcoach groups, international, and meetings markets
- Networking events and familiarization tours held annually in the spring and fall
