Familiarization Tours

Each year, Visit Frederick offers familiarization (FAM) tours around Frederick County for our members and partners. These tours provide opportunities for those in the hospitality industry around the region to learn what's new and exciting. These tours are a great chance to meet others in the industry while learning about the new experiences being offered to visitors in Frederick County.

Middletown and Historic National Road

Join Visit Frederick and the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce on a bus tour highlighting tourism and hospitality businesses along the Historical National Road Scenic Byway through Frederick County. This tour will show what's new and exciting in the tourism industry in Frederick County, an industry that generates more than $500 million in the region each year. Visit Frederick hosts these "Familiarization Tours" twice a year - providing our business community an opportunity to learn more about tourism in Frederick County and its economic impact on the region.

Tour will begin at Gaver Farm at 8am - bus will return to Gaver Farm at the conclusion of the tour at approximately 4:30pm.
