Confederates Capture Train 

In June 1863, Confederate forces began spilling across the Potomac River to launch their invasion of Maryland and Pennsylvania. On June 17, 1863, Confederate cavalry attacked and captured a train carrying military supplies on the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad here at Point of Rocks.
