Top Accessible Trails

Cunningham Falls State Park - Boardwalk Trail – Distance 0.2 miles. Wheelchair accessible. Boardwalk. Easy. ADA-only parking on Foxville Rd (just west of Catoctin Hollow Rd).

Monocacy National Battlefield Park - Gambrill Mill Trail – Distance 0.5 miles. Wheelchair accessible. Boardwalk. Easy.

Catoctin Mountain Park - Spicebush Nature Trail – Distance 0.3 miles. Paved trail. Easy. Access is from Chestnut Picnic Area on West side of park.

C&O Canal National Historic Park - The entire towpath is flat with a surface of either crushed stone or packed earth. Because the towpath is not paved, it’s recommended that one use a wheelchair designed for non-paved areas.

Carroll Creek Linear Park – A sidewalk/promenade running along Carroll Creek. - 1.3 miles. Easy. A self-guided tour that includes Carroll Creek is available at the Frederick Visitor Center.

Baker Park – Has paved trails which travel along the shores of Culler Lake and Carroll Creek. A self-guided walking tour on the paved trails is available at the Frederick Visitor Center.
