Airports

Frederick County is in close proximity to three major airports in the Capital Region. Within an hour’s drive, you’ll find Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). 

The City of Frederick is also home to Frederick Municipal Airport (FDK). It is a full-service reliever airport conveniently located outside of the D.C. Special Flight Rules Area. FDK is the Preferred Executive Airport in the National Capital Region.
