Social Media Content Specialist
Reports To: Senior Marketing and Communications Manager
Part-time - 20 hours per week
Frederick Visitor Center (in-person) / Field (events around Frederick County)
Position Summary
Visit Frederick is seeking a creative, organized Social Media Content Specialist to bring Frederick County’s stories to life on Facebook and Instagram (with exploratory work on TikTok). This position plans and schedules content, writes on-brand copy with clear calls to action, and provides on-the-ground coverage at select events. The ideal candidate pairs sharp writing and mobile-first video skills with a love for Frederick’s small businesses, neighborhoods, and signature experiences.
