For more than a decade, Frederick Restaurant Week has been a staple on the spring calendar in Frederick County, Maryland.

In 2024, the Downtown Frederick Partnership is launching an updated, upgraded celebration of Downtown Frederick’s culinary prowess that it’s calling Bites & Bevs Frederick.”

 

Bites and Bevs 2024

This two week celebration, starting on March 3 and running through March 16, combines Frederick Restaurant Week with “Collab Week.” This second week provides the opportunities for local businesses and craft beverage establishments to partner with Downtown Frederick’s restaurants to create one-of-a-kind experiences that you literally can’t get anywhere else.

Together, Bites & Bevs Frederick is the perfect opportunity to explore the top-notch culinary scene in Downtown Frederick while highlighting the amazing ingredients that make Frederick County, Maryland one of the most important agricultural centers in the Capital Region.

Frederick Restaurant Week 

Returning as normal this year is Frederick Restaurant Week. Hosted by the Downtown Frederick Partnership and supported by Visit Frederick and the Frederick News-Post, Restaurant Week allows for local restaurants to create special menus and multi-course meals.

In the second week of Bites & Bevs (March 10-16), Frederick’s culinary scene will be alive with fun, exciting collaborations between restaurants, culinary adjacent businesses, and craft beverage purveyors.

Build Your Own McCutcheon’s Burger @ Fifty Fifty - March 12

Indulge in an evening of flavor exploration as Fifty Fifty teams up with McCutcheon’s Apple Products for a culinary adventure!

Join Fifty Fifty on Tuesday, March 12 from 5 to 8pm as McCutcheon’s showcases a selection of their products at the Fifty Fifty restaurant inside Olde Mother Brewing. From tasty Apple Butter to zesty Pineapple Habanero Pepper Jam, dive into the creativity of our Build Your Own McCutcheon's Burger, where you can customize your burger with any of McCutcheons’ delicious offerings.

Chocolate and Whiskey Pairing at Firestone’s Culinary Tavern – March 13

Firestone’s Culinary Tavern will be hosting their first collaborative event with The Perfect Truffle on March 13. Join them for a one hour pairing of five different Maryland-distilled Sagamore Spirit Rye Whiskeys with paired chocolates from Cody Marwine from The Perfect Truffle.

Coffee Cocktail Making with McClintock Distilling and Gravel and Grind – March 13

McClintock Distilling and Gravel and Grind have teamed up to give you a chance to get hands-on with creating coffee cocktails. Join master mixologist Sarah Murphy in creating 3 cocktails that utilize coffee in ways you never thought of.
