Melissa Joseph Muntz Joins Visit Frederick Staff
Frederick, MD – On June 27, 2016, Melissa Joseph Muntz joined Visit Frederick as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator. Prior to joining the office, Melissa served as the Director of Outreach for Frederick and Carroll Counties for Congressman Chris Van Hollen.
As Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Melissa will be responsible for developing and maintaining the organization’s digital marketing, communications and public relations efforts, and cultivating positive media coverage of Frederick City and County as a travel destination.
Melissa holds a bachelor's degree from Hood College. In addition to her work for Congressman Van Hollen, she has worked as an associate for McBee Strategic Consulting and as an aide for Senator Ron Young. Melissa and her fiancé, Tyler, live in Downtown Frederick with their dog, Lucy.
Visit Frederick is the recognized Destination Marketing Organization for Frederick City and Frederick County, Maryland. It operates the Frederick Visitor Center and related Visit Frederick programs that include Destination Marketing and Group Tour Marketing.
