Visit Frederick Wins Award for Best Printed Promotional Material
Frederick, MD – Visit Frederick received the 2016 award for “Best Printed Promotional Material” at the Maryland Tourism & Travel Summit. The award recognized the Wineries Breweries Distilleries brochure created by Visit Frederick in partnership with the Frederick County Office of Economic Development, and was designed by Jean Peterson Design. The award was presented at a banquet during this year’s summit on November 3.
The Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries brochure is the only printed brochure in the state of Maryland that pulls together all of the craft beverage offerings for one, single county. Although Visit Frederick is a membership-based organization, this comprehensive brochure lists member and non-member businesses, offering the visitor a complete list of libations in Frederick County. The creation of the brochure also coincided with the launch of OED’s website www.homegrownfrederick.org, where visitors can also find the list of wineries, breweries and distilleries online.
