Monocacy National Battlefield

Earn your junior ranger badge as you discover the true story of the Battle that Saved Washington in 1864. This is a great place, near the City of Frederick, to take a walk and enjoy the green space preserved by this National Park.

Cunningham Falls State Park

There is actually a small fee to enter the park, but it's just a few dollars and will provide hours of entertainment! Hike the trail to the 78-foot cascading waterfall, make friends with birds at the aviary, or just relax on the beach.
